If you have been speculating where has Tanuja Chandras long-awaited movie Film Star gone and wondering if it were shelved in the cans, heres a reason to rejoice.

Last weekend was chockfull of remarkable TV premieres. There was Sanjay Leela Bhansalis "Black" of course, but there was more. I also happened to watch Anant Mahadevans ready-for-release Hindi film "Staying Alive". And I was completely bowled over by its lucid yet sparse emotionalism as two incompatible men, played brilliantly by director Mahadevan and Sourabh Shukla, struggled for life and breadth in the ICU."Staying Alive" is a film that makes you thankful for the gift of life... and cinema.In comparison, the other films this weekend were so fake! Especially Tanuja Chandras "Film Star" which got a first-time premiere on Sahara on Friday night.I must admit Im very angry with Tanuja. How could the maker of "Dushman", "Sangharsh" and "Sur" flawed but commendable for their originality of vision make such ersatz tripe! Supposedly an insiders look at the sham and shindig of showbiz and barring "Kagaz Ke Phool" we all know how these films-on-film function!, "Film Star" had Mahima Chowdhary hamming away dangerously as a hysterical fast-fading superstar wishful shrinking who cannibalises a battered wifes Vasundhara Das life to resurrect her career.

Sushmita Sen will play the role of a rock-singer in Tanuja Chandras next film, Rocking.According to Chandra, the film is an emotional love story, which will portray Sushmita in a role that she has never essayed before.

Mumbai, May 10 : Newcomer Shiney Ahuja, who steals the show as a dreaded mobster in his latest release "Gangster", cannot stop raving about Sushmita Sen. "I am doing Tanuja Chandras film Rocking with her. It is a love story between a cardiologist played by me and a singer played by Sushmita. The title Rocking doesnt only refer to music but also to the way she rocks my life," Shiney told ."She is enigmatic and magnetic. Among all my co-stars so far she is my absolute favourite."

Shiney Ahuja is going great. His performance in Gangster is remarkable critics say. Shiney is happy the way his career has shaped up. He has a couple of films lined up. There is one film by Tanuja Chandra titled Rocking in which he is acting with Sushmita Sen, and Shiny simply cant stop raving about Ms Sen. He says, "She is enigmatic and magnetic. Among all my co-stars so far she is my absolute favourite."

Mumbai, May 29 : Director Tanuja Chandra says the new title of her forthcoming film "Zindagi Rocks", starring Sushmita Sen and Shiney Ahuja, is eliciting a good deal of curiosity about the film from various quarters."It has given the film a new identity, which is one of the reasons the producers have been receiving several queries about the film from buyers as well as eager audiences," said Chandra.Originally titled "Rocking", the film was re-named for two reasons - to connect with the non-urban crowds and maintain the true spirit of the film and its protagonist, Sushmita, reports Bollywood Trade.

The new title of Tanuja Chandras ROCKING, ZINDAGI ROCKS, has been eliciting a good deal of curiosity about the film from various quarters according to Chandra. "It has given the film a new identity, which is one of the reasons the producers have been receiving several queries about the film from buyers as well as eager audiences," Tanuja reveals.
