This is a sex comedy about a bored and boring man who wants to pep up his life with a bit of wife-swapping... hardly the kind of theme and film that would qualify as little more than an effort to titillate audiences with a whole lot of junk feud in the domestic ambience.

New Delhi,India Feb 12 : Moviemaking moguls are courting the great Indian teeming middle class like never before, making their mundane and ordinary lives the inspiration for films to feed the ever-escalating demand of multiplexes.Close on the heels of mega successful "Rang De Basanti", a coming of age film about average Indian youths, a couple of more films inspired by middle class lives went on the marquees."Mixed Doubles" by Rajat Kapoor starring Rajat, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ranvir Shorey and Koel Purie tells a story of a regular, middle class couple whose love life has lost the spice and what they do or not do about it.Alongside was released "Holiday", directed by Pooja Bhatt and starring newcomer Onjolie Nair with Dino Morea, Kashmera Shah and Gulshan Grover. The film, inspired heavily by Hollywood-hit "Dirty Dancing", tells the story of an ordinary girl who is more of an underdog in the family but grows in self-confidence to become an achiever.

Koel Puri who was last seen in Rajat Kapoors Mixed Doubles has signed a new film titled Breaking News. The film will be directed by debutant Vishal Inamdar. According to Koel, the film is about sting operations and she plays a journalist.

The premiere of Nagesh Kukunoors DOR was hosted by Fame Adlabs in association with Sahara One Motion Pictures on Thursday night. The venue was done up elaborately to create the ambience of Rajasthan with soft lighting and a red carpet was rolled out to welcome the cast of Dor Shreyas Talpade, Ayesha Takia, Gul Pana and Nagesh Kukunoor along with Farhan Azmi, Sanjay Suri with his wife, Maushmi Udeshi, Rahul Roy, Salim-Suleiman, Koel Puri amongst others.

ASA Productions and Enterprises Ltds 1920 the latest venture by Director Vikram Bhatt had its magnificent Coffee Table Book launched recently at JW Marriott in style!! The highlight of the fun filled soirée hosted by Surendra Sharma of ASA Productions and Enterprises Pvt Ltd was the launch of the book by Adnan Sami, Music director of 1920, amidst a lot of fanfare. The beautifully crafted coffee table book has been designed by Atmanand Studio Link to the theme of the film and gives the reader a feel of an era gone by.  Also present with their full fledged support were Director Vikram Bhatt, Producers Surendra Sharma, Amita Bishnoi, Bhagwanti Gabrani from ASA Productions and Enterprises Pvt Ltd, the debutants of the film, main leads Rajneesh Duggal and Adah Sharma, actress Anjori Alagh, Raj Zutshi, Vipin Sharma, Vallab Vyas, Amin Haji, Ashish Pradhan, Smita Hai, Rushitaa Pandyaas as well as the entire unit of 1920. Bollywood came out in full force to show their solidarity to Vikram Bhatt. Mahima Chaudhary and sister Manjari made a cute pair. Nagma was seen on the circuit after quite a gap. Koel Purie and Nauheed Cyrusi gave each other company and enjoyed posing for the photographs. Dino Morea made a quick appearance and left. Aashish Chowdhry, Vidya Malvade, Shahwar Ali, Kailash Kher, Bali Brahmabhatt, Kunal Ganjawala and Gayatri Iyer were also present. The TV brigade was represented by Indraneil Sengupta and wife Barkha Bisht, Shehzad, Bakul, Sudesh Behri, Dilip Thandeshwar. Naseem Sidiqui, surrounded by security, also graced the event.

It was on the sets of Rock On that we realised that Koel Purie always has a bikini with her wherever she goes.

This time it was not acting but meeting the public for actress Koel Purie who along with the new star in the making Sikander Kher participated in a book reading session of Paulo Coelhos famous work The Alchemist.
