Mumbai,With this years Tamil super hit "Chandramukhi" reportedly grossing over Rs.700 million, some top Bollywood filmmakers are reportedly trying to acquire the films rights for a Hindi remake, reports Bollywood Trade. The film, directed by P. Vasu and starring Tamil superstar Rajnikant, Jyothika and Prabhu, is a remake of Malayalam film "Manichitratazhu". The 1993 film, directed by Fazils and starring Mohan Lal, Shobhna and Suresh Puri under the banner of "Swarg Chitra", pocketed three National Awards - best film, best actor and best actress. The film did good business at the box-office. In 2004, the subject was taken up by Kannada filmmakers and made into "Aaptha Mitra".

Declaring that "Home Delivery" isnt sold to the audience like bhelpuri, Vivek says that the film is funny and has an "emotional tadka seasoning to it. The dubbed Bhojpuri version is entitled Babua Khiladi Dadua Anari - the babua being Bachchan and the dadua being the late Om Prakash who plays his grandfather.

The shooting for veteran actress Saira Banus first film as a producer will commence on December 16th in Rajpipla, Gujarat. A Bhojpuri film titled Ab To Banja Sajanva Hamaar, it is being made under the banner of Prime Focus. It stars Ravi Kissen and Nagma and is being directed by Arshad Khan. Ten songs for the film have already been recorded.

Ritu Shivpuri the actress who started her career with Aankhen is the latest to join the jewellery designing bandwagon.
